Youth Ministry Masters Program for Missional Leaders

Shapevine.com, the online video/community portal co-founded by Alan Hirsch and Lance Ford, announced today a partnership with Biblical Seminary on the launch of a master’s level certificate program “for the development of missional (youth ministry) leaders around the world.”

According to the Shapevine announcement, “This fully online program lets you earn a certificate in youth ministry without leaving your current ministry context. The three-course certificate can be completed in less than one year and will be taught by Mark Riddle.”

In addition, Shapevine and Biblical Seminary are considering the idea of offering a master’s level program in Missional Church Planting: “We are also working with Biblical on the possibility of this as a program offering. It would be online for the vast majority of required work and will be taught by an array of the leading thinkers and authors such as Alan Hirsch, Reggie McNeal, Bob Roberts, Steve Sjogren, Ed Stetzer, and more.” If you are interested in participating in a program like this, you are encouraged to contact Lance Ford and let him know.

Shapevine also announced that it would be launching “a totally new look” and “a full menu of rich media learning opportunities and communication tools for you to enjoy and use for your own ministries” by the end of August. So stay tuned!
