Tony Jones Interviewed by "Think"

Tony Jones recently did an interview about his book The New Christians on “Think,” a program produced by KERA in Dallas, Texas.

In the interview, host Krys Boyd asks Tony a number of good questions, including, “Beyond the social value of community, why come together as a group? Why not make this sort of an individualistic Christian transcendentalism?” and “Is there a danger that emergent Christianity will crystallize into something that is also less movable and less pliable?”

Tony asks his own stunning (rhetorical) question: “What do we do with the robots when they show up at the church doors?!”

Trust me, you’ll want to see this:

I like the connections Tony highlights between Emergent and Participatory Web Culture.

Oh, and it’s Krys Boyd.

Note: I fixed the “Kris” to say “Krys,” Chris ;-) Thanks!
