Theological/Philosophical Conversation Reading List
In consultation with Jack Caputo and Richard Kearney, we’ve developed a reading list for the 2007 Theological Philosophical Conversation. It’s going to be a great time, and maybe seeing the reading list will entice you to sign up for the event. Here it is:
Philosophy and Theology by John D. Caputo (this book is included in your registration cost, and everyone who registers by March 1 will receive a copy in the mail)
On Religion by John D. Caputo
After God: Richard Kearney And the Religious Turn in Continental Philosophy: read the chapters, “Epiphanies of the Everyday” and “Enabling God” by Richard Kearney
We’re also working to get a draft of Jack’s book-in-progress, What Would Jesus Deconstruct?
Extra Credit Reading (these books are more challenging):
The Weakness of God: A Theology of the Event by John D. Caputo
The God Who May Be: A Hermeneutics of Religion by Richard Kearney
