Spend Your Summer Learning About Postmodern Philosophy and Theology

Posted Mar 20, 07:20 AM | 2 comments | by Steve Knight | Link

David Fitch and Geoff Holsclaw, co-founders of Up/rooted (an Emergent cohort in the Chicago area) and co-pastors at Life on the Vine, have announced they’ll be teaching a 10-week online readings course (through Northern Seminary) on postmodern philosophy/theology this summer.

David Fitch explains, “Reading postmodern (Continental) philosophy can be a challenge to say the least. Yet a working knowledge of the basic authors can be invaluable when reading theology after the postmodern turn. ... After the course, you should walk away with a good introduction to postmodern thought.”
