Save the House of Mercy Podcast

“What happened to the podcast?”

We get emails asking this pretty regularly, along with comments like, “I found the House of Mercy sermon podcast at a time when I really needed to hear something new, thank you, thank you, thank you.”

“Since discovering the sermon audio files on the House of Mercy website, I’ve been getting some church right here at home. Not every day, but, I confess, sometimes as much as three times a day.”

Each weekly HoM podcast, gets an average of about 500 listens in a 12-month period, that’s like 26,000 a year. But, as may podcast listeners know, the podcast has been down or haltingly up for the last nine months. This is due to needed upgrades to our whole 5-year-old website. And we are ready to make that all happen, but we just need a little bit of money. It really isn’t a lot, but we kind of need to pay all our other bills first, and as many of you who acquainted with churches and nonprofits know, the end of summer is a very slow giving time, and this year slower than most. So, we end up, like super short in the fall.

So, if you ever listened to the podcast and would love to have it podcasting to you every week again soon, would you give a little? Five bucks or twenty, or three? Thanks so much and thanks for being part of the House of Mercy community whether virtual or
visceral.
