There are a number of excellent online publications that have new/recent content worth highlighting right now:

emergingchurch.info
Jonny Baker alerts us to the July/August 2008 updates on the UK-based emergingchurch.info site, including:
- “Experiments in Truth” by Mark Scandrette
- “Entertainment Theology: New Edge Spirituality in a Digital Democracy” — Barry Taylor interviewed by Ian Mobsby
The Other Journal
Over at the ChurchandPomo blog, Jamie Smith writes, “The folks at The Other Journal continue to host intriguing and important conversations. Of note for ChurchandPomo readers will be a recent exchange regarding the prospects and possibilities for a sort of ‘Christian atheism.’” He points specifically to these two articles from Issue 11 of The Other Journal (produced by Mars Hill Graduate School):
- “Why Every Christian Should ‘Quite Rightly Pass for an Atheist’” by Jon Stanley
- “On What Could Quite Rightly Pass for a Fetish: Some Thoughts on Whether ‘Every Christian Should “Quite Rightly Pass for an Atheist”’” by Ben Suriano
Lastly, I also want to mention that the current issue of the Christian Research Journal covers “Navigating The Emerging Church Highway.” The cover story is written by Mark Driscoll, and other articles cover topics such as “The Yoga Boom: A Call for Christian Discernment” and “How to Engage in Politics without Losing your Soul” (written by Andy Jackson of SmartChristian.com). None of the articles are available online, so if any of you out there are print subscribers maybe you can post some thoughts/reflections on this issue of CRJ in the comments here for us.
