New 2008 Emergent Theological Conversation Plans Announced

The new plans for the 2008 Emergent Theological Conversation have been announced: “Reclaiming Paul: The Apostle in the Emerging World” will be held October 22-24 at Jacob’s Well Church in Kansas City, Missouri.

The conference is being presented by Nazarene Theological Seminary (NTS), in partnership with Emergent Village.

The Emergent Nazarenes also recently hosted a conference on postmodern youth ministry with Tony Jones and, back in November 2006, the “Missional Leaders in an Emerging Culture Conversation.”

Also of interest: the Church of the Nazarene’s “Mission 2007” conference included some Emergent speakers, such as Tim Keel, Tim Conder, Mike King, etc. Some audio from that conference—including a panel discussion on “What Is Emergent?”—is available here.

NTS is also co-sponsoring Tim Keel’s upcoming “Intuitive Leadership” conference, April 23-25, in conjunction with Brian McLaren’s “Everything Must Change” tour stop in Kansas City, April 25-26. (Just another reminder about the “Prelude” event for youth ministry folks happening April 23-26 in Kansas City, as well.)
