Emergent Mid-Atlantic Conference Moves to One Day
By Thomas Turner:
To help alleviate travel and monetary concerns from many different fronts, the organizers of the first-ever Emergent Mid-Atlantic Conference have decided to move all of the events to one day (November 8, 2008), so that those attending can cut down on gas, air, and hotel costs. Making this a one-day event will be a benefit to all attending, including us organizers, as it will keep costs lower for producing the event with one less day needed for rental and space usage.
Also, starting this Friday (August 22), the price of admission will go up to $25 online and will be $35 at the door. The price of $15 will only remain for students who present a valid student ID.
