This talk gets off to a slow start (maybe a little more trimming up front would have helped), but once it gets going it is wonderful!

Doug, thanks for that presentation. I heard several ideas that are very thought provoking:
A) “It’s possible that our dilemma in Christianity is not a marketing problem. It could be a message problem.”

B) “When people gather together in church what are they doing; Christian practices or Christian show time?”

C) Your analysis of bounded set vs. center set vs. relational set was right on target! It really illustrated the issues I’ve seen in churches and challenged me to rethink my image of community.

I’m going to share all of these with my home group/church in the coming weeks. Thanks!
