Wicker patio chairs are a nice addition to any patio or deck environment. You will be able to choose from either synthetic or natural wicker. It can be manufactured from bamboo, rattan, cane or several other materials. One of the best things about buying wicker furniture is the fact that it is very easy to clean. All you need to do is use a hose to wash it off. It is specially designed to withstand the elements and last for many years in an outdoor environment. 2. Plastic

Plastic is the most popular option that people choose when they are buying outdoor furniture. Its popularity comes primarily from the fact that it is also the cheapest material. However, it does not look nearly as attractive and classy as many of the other outdoor furniture material options that are available on the market. Plastic furniture can be easily cleaned. It can also be subjected to a large amount of abuse without being damaged. If you have several children in your house, plastic is probably the best option for you because it can withstand being played with.

3. Wood

For a look that is both classy and elegant, you may want to buy outdoor furniture that is made from wood. Many different types of wood can be used, depending on your particular taste. Some types of wood are more durable than others, so be aware of this. For example, Shorea, jarrah and teak have been known to last for up to a half-century. You can also choose from redwood, cedar, teak, eucalyptus and pine. Although all of these options have a beautiful appearance, they will not have the longevity of some of the other woods. If you want to make your wood furniture last longer, you can use various sealants and oils to treat the wood.
