1. Church Basement Road Show
   

   Emergent Pittsburgh will be hosting the Church Basement Road Show, featuring Tony Jones, Doug Pagitt, and Mark Scandrette on August 2nd in Pittsburgh.  Details will be announced soon!

2. Locations Announced for EMI
   

   The locations for the Experimental Missional Initiatives with Ian Mobsby have been announced.

   • The Place of Arts and Experience in Worship on Monday June 4th from 7-9pm will be at The Union Project in Pittsburgh's East End (directions here)
   • Understanding how Trinity Empowers the Church to be Experimental and Missional on Tuesday Morning from 9am to Noon will be at the office of Pittsburgh Presbytery on Pittsburgh's North Side. (directions here)

3. Experimental Missional Initiatives - June 4th and 5th
   

   Emergent Pittsburgh is proud to announce that Ian Mobsby, an author and missional leader from the UK, will be visiting Pittsburgh in June.  Emergent Pittsburgh will be hosting two events featuring Ian:

   • Monday June 4th (7-9pm) : The Place of the Arts and Experience in Worship ($10)
     
   • Tuesday June 5th (9am-Noon) : Understanding how the Trinity Empowers the Church to Become Experimental and Missional ($40)

4. The Heart of the Missional Church on DVD!
   

   Emergent Pittsburgh is proud to announce that The Heart of the Missional Church, an event held this past fall in Pittsburgh, is available on DVD for only $10 (including shipping and handling).

   The 3 DVD set includes all of Doug Pagitt's keynote sessions from Saturday.  This is a great resource to use for a group training and facilitating a group discussions about how we do church.

5. Leadership in the 21st Century with Tim Keel
   

   On March 10th Emergent Pittsburgh will host Tim Keel, lead pastor of Jacob's Well Church

   This seminar will explore issues facing women and men providing leadership in the local church (and beyond) in the midst of a changing culture. The experience is designed to encourage, connect, catalyze, facilitate, empower, and resource the church in the greater Pittsburgh region. (register here)
