Northern Colorado Emergent Cohort

  1. of possible interest – Kierkegaard

Revolution is discussing Kierkegaard and we'd love all the participation we can get! I think this would be a great way to get the cohort back together...even (especially) if you know nothing about Kierkegaard or philosophy at all for that matter.

Where: Kevin Mabry’s Carriage House 704 W. Mountain Ave. in Fort Collins
accessed by walking back through the driveway gate to the back yard. Continue along the driveway to the garage and take the steps up to the carriage house.

What: Lunch served | Children welcome! (children can stay with the adults or move into the main house after lunch with our amazing, caring children’s ministers).

Revolution is an open, inclusive, safe space for reflection, contemplation, meditation, worship, fellowship, prayer and communion (and knowing the Revolution, more irreverent laughter than you’d think possible)

  2. Emergent and Methodism talk

Dr. Paul W. Chilcote, who is professor of historical theology at Ashland Theological Seminary in Ohio will be presenting a talk on the links between early Methodism and the Emergent movement on Saturday, March 7, at 10:15 a.m., at First UMC, 1005 Stover Street (at Elizabeth) in Fort Collins.
